Luzula sylvatica, also known as wood rush, is a sturdy, evergreen grass-like plant with broad, shiny dark green leaves. This perennial is especially suitable for shaded borders, under trees and shrubs, and in natural gardens, where it provides structure and calm throughout the year. Luzula sylvatica thrives in partial to full shade, requires little care, and is very hardy in winter. Thanks to its dense growth and natural appearance, it is an excellent ground cover for more challenging, shaded spots in the garden.
