Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ is a sturdy and richly flowering perennial with fresh green leaves and striking, deep pink to purplish-red flower spikes that bloom from late spring to mid-summer. This variety is ideal for moist borders, natural gardens, and pond edges, where it adds height, structure, and a vivid splash of colour. Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ grows best in a sunny to partly shaded spot in well-moist, fertile soil. The plant is low-maintenance, hardy in winter, and attracts bees and butterflies.
