This compact herbaceous plant is ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, formal plantings, and as ground cover between paving or stones. Thymus praecox ‘Purple Beauty’ grows best in a sunny spot with well-drained, lime-rich soil. The plant is low-maintenance, drought-resistant, hardy in winter, and very attractive to bees and butterflies.
