Appearance of the plant: The Calathea Flamestar has beautiful, elongated leaves with a striking pattern. The leaves are dark to light green in color, with a beautiful stripe pattern in light and dark shades. The underside of the leaves has a deep purple color, which provides a nice contrast. The leaves have a wavy edge and can become quite large, giving this plant a full and lush appearance.
Location: This plant thrives best in a spot with indirect sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to fade. A lightly shaded spot in the room is ideal, but make sure the plant is not placed in a too dark corner.
Water needs: The Calathea Flamestar likes a humid environment, but it is important to keep the soil lightly moist without water standing in the pot. Water the plant regularly, ideally once a week, and occasionally spray the leaves to increase humidity.
