    Description

Fresh and delivered directly from the nursery, enjoy this beautiful Small Christmas tree from Fresh From Nature®, available in various variants.

When autumn has begun, your garden is winter-ready, and the days are getting shorter, you want to make your home cozier again. That is why Fresh from Nature® also offers plants that you can easily place indoors. From autumn onwards, you will see the Picea glauca Conica ‘December’® or the dwarf conifer with its beautiful shape appearing again in garden centers and florists in various sizes. It's nice that the plant is also available richly decorated. With colored garlands, in beautiful decorative pots, or with a snow effect where the tree is dusted white. And... feel free to let the plant lead a double life by planting it outside in the ground as a garden plant in spring. And you don't need green fingers for it. The mini trees are so easy that there is a spot for them everywhere: in the garden but also on the balcony or terrace.

    Care Tips

Dwarf conifers don't get their name directly from their small size, but from their slow growth. When purchased, the plant is therefore older than you might expect. This means you get more enjoyment from it. Once the dwarf conifers have grown enough, you can plant them in the garden. Dwarf conifers can remain in the garden for generations without becoming wild. If you plant it outside in the ground in spring, you hardly need to fertilize or prune it. The plant appears fuller and is less likely to have bare spots. If you have kept it indoors all winter, it is advisable to let it acclimate in the shed for a while before planting it outside in the ground in spring. The tree will eventually grow to about one meter tall. You can also combine it well with flowering ground covers or bedding plants. Or put it in a nice pot for the terrace or balcony.

    Facts

Don't grab the top of the Picea glauca Conica ‘December’® with your hands. The chance that the dwarf conifer will suffer damage from the skin oils on your hands is high. Always hold it from the bottom. And... make sure they get enough water, because drying out is fatal for this dwarf conifer. Feel free to pluck some needles and crush them between your hands. What do your hands smell like? Exactly, black currants. By the way, the Picea was found in the wild in 1904 in the mountains of Canada. The dwarf conifer Coninca Picea December® is perfect to use as a mini Christmas tree indoors or on the balcony or terrace. In combination with heather or berry plants, you create a cozy winter scene. Or how about a dwarf conifer in a pot as an eye-catcher by the front door? Small specimens can also be used as small decorations.
