The Mineral orchid Congo, with its red color, is a true beauty in any interior. The orchid produces many small red flowers, which is also called multiflora. The red orchid without a decorative pot has a pot size of 9cm and features 2 or 3 sturdy stems. You can nicely place this orchid on a coffee table due to its short height of about 30/35cm. The red color of the Congo orchid fits well with minimalist or ethnic interiors. Watering:
Water your orchid once a week by soaking the plastic growing pot in water. Let the orchid drain well before placing it back in the decorative pot. Check the roots before watering your houseplant. Are the roots light gray? Then water it. Are the roots dark green? Then you do not need to water. Pamper an orchid extra by using orchid fertilizer once every two months.
Orchid placement:
- A bright spot, not in direct sunlight, with room temperatures between 17 and 22 degrees.
– Do not place near a heater or radiator, as this air is too dry for the orchid.
– Not next to a fruit bowl. Many types of fruit emit a natural substance that accelerates the aging process.
