Appearance of the plant:

Location:
- Kentia: Ideal for a spot with indirect sunlight or light shade. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
- Strelitzia Nicolai: Likes plenty of light and can also tolerate direct sunlight. Ideal for a bright living room or greenhouse.
- Areca: Prefers a bright spot but avoid strong, direct sunlight to keep the leaves healthy.
Water needs:
- Kentia: Keep the potting soil lightly moist, without water standing at the bottom of the pot. Water about once a week.
- Strelitzia Nicolai: Water when the top layer of the potting soil feels dry. More often in summer, less in winter.
- Areca: Ensure the potting soil is constantly lightly moist. Avoid drying out, but do not let the roots stand in water.
