The Yucca Rostrata (50 cm) loves the sun and requires little water. In winter, the plant is sensitive to excess moisture. Therefore, ensure good drainage in the pot and protect the plant from excess water during wet periods to prevent root rot.
This Yucca comes from dry areas and needs very little water. Since it is a slow grower, extra watering is usually not necessary. Check the soil weekly and water when the soil is almost dry. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
The Yucca Rostrata prefers full sun and tolerates direct sunlight well. Move the plant as little as possible so it can gradually get used to its spot. The plant is hardy down to -20°C. In case of severe or prolonged frost, it is advisable to protect the Yucca with a cover, cloth, or bubble wrap.
